Completed in 1967, this building first served as the Chemistry Building, and in 1996 it was converted into the Research and Development（R&D）Building. In 2020 the R&D Building was completely renovated and turned into General Building IV, which houses classrooms, office space, file storage, a post office, a clinic and a restaurant.
