Located on Husin Island（湖心島）in the middle of Chengkung Lake（成功湖）, the rustic Jimei Pavilion（1986）is named after Chou Yi Chun（周貽春）, one of the early presidents of Tsinghua University in Beijing, whose courtesy name was Jimei. After the Pavilion’s original name plaque was stolen, a reproduction was made and remains firmly bolted in place. More commonly known as the Husin Pavilion（湖心亭）, it’s said that sweethearts who make a vow here on Valentine's Day are certain to have a happy college life together.
