Learning Resource Center(學習資源中心)(Macronix Building 旺宏館)

Located next to the Campus Green, on the site originally occupied by the Scientific Instrumentation Building, this large building was completed in 2013; major funding was provided by Macronix International. The eye-catching Macronix Building resembles a computer mouse topped by an open book. The building is divided into two distinct sections. The front section is four stories high and houses the International Conference Hall, the Synchronized Distance-Learning Classroom, and the 24-hour “moonlighting area”; the back section has seven stories and houses the Library and administrative offices. An internal curving corridor connects the two sections, representing the integration of a traditional book collection and modern computer technology.
