The completion of the Chemistry Building（1993）, Chemical Engineering Building, and Engineering Building I, all designed by Fei & Cheng Associates（宗邁建築事務所）, marked the advent of a new architectural style at NTHU, with light red as the predominant color scheme. Viewed from above, the Chemistry Building looks like a pair of wings, and when viewed from the lawn, it resembles the periodic table. The Chemistry Building is equipped with classrooms, research laboratories, offices, a fully functional chemical library, and a wide array of state-of-the-art instruments.
