Located near the Clock Tower on the Campus Green, the low-rise General Building I（1981）is mainly occupied by administrative offices, including the Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Student Affairs, Office of General Affairs, and the Office of Research and Development. As with most of the Buildings constructed at NTHU up to the mid-1980s, the General Building I has a streamlined white façade accentuating the surrounding greenery.
