This was the earliest faculty housing built at NTHU. The first batch of ten bungalows was designed by Wang Da Hong（王大閎）and completed in 1957, one unit of which has continuously served as the president’s residence. During the 1970s a large number of two- and four-story residences were added. The low-density layout and abundant greenery lend this residential area lots of bucolic charm.
